I have been a slacker about posting for my photography blog. But I have actually had a lot of fun taking some pictures for people recently. These are my good friends the Rodgers and shooting them was honestly one of the most fun Sunday afternoons ever. It has been so long since I've taken pictures of just adults, no kids. And they just did what I said! Unbelievable. It doesn't hurt that they happen to be very good looking. Kristi could be one of the most photogenic people I know. I am officially starting my blog for my photography!

I have been taking pictures for a couple years now, and I gradually have fallen more and more in love with it. I used to think of myself as a non-creative person. That has changed a little since I started taking pictures and editing. It is somewhat of an addiction and a continual learning process. I am always wanting to learn new ways to document beautiful and insightful memories.

So while it has been a hobby, I am starting to move into the realm of making it an actual business. I have done some photo shoots in the last year and have found that I LOVE it. I love the challenge of trying to incorporate personalities and attitudes in a picture. There is no greater feeling than taking a great picture and having it bring a smile to someone's face.

I am going to be posting pictures of my portfolio and any current photo shoots. So hopefully you will enjoy and if you are interested in being my guinea pig, let me know!
